1860-O Liberty Seated Silver Dollar. MS-64 (PCGS).
Pretty golden-peach toning extends over the obverse and reverse with pleasing teal and pink accents. The fields and devices are free from any significant abrasions, and with pleasing luster to boot, his near Gem is sure to be a welcome addition in a discriminating collector's cabinet. Although this is a hoard coin and available for a price in Mint State grades, at this near Gem level the number known starts to really drop off. Off course there are a few out there, but remember that this is a New Orleans issue that despite a generous mintage of over half a million pieces is represented today by a tiny fraction of that figure. Given the number of collectors of this series, and add to that the type collectors and general interest specialists, and you have considerable demand for such an attractive coin as this. Make sure to bid accordingly if you expect to capture this prize.
