Deep chestnut-red surfaces appear wholesome to the unaided eye, but low magnification picks up traces of burnishing throughout. There are no marks of any measure to be seen no matter how strong the light or how powerful the magnification. Overdate details plainly evident with a loupe. The second of two consecutive years with overdate details; an overdate was also minted in 1810. Scarce so fine, and a coin that should be seen to appreciate the quality which still shines through despite the NGC qualifier.
